TOASTIE modular sofa

Designed by designer Aino Michelsen, Toastie is a modular sofa that you can easily create different configurations from. Straight, divan, open-ended - you decide. The seating is top-notch, as is the Interface sofa. The foam seat is firm and the feather-soft back cushion provides just the right amount of extra comfort.

Toastie is based on Michelsen's previously designed Toast sofa for Interface. Toastie has been scaled down in all directions. As a result, the seating comfort between the sofas is very different. You decide which one suits you and your needs better.

In Toastie, the modules are: B/C 125, DV/DO and O/P. So you get the following configurations from them:

B125 + C 125 (250 x 105, h = 73 cm)
B125 + DO (253 x 128, h = 73 cm)
DV + C125 (253x128, h = 73 cm)
B125 + D (250 x 105, h = 73 cm)
O + C125 (250 x 105, h = 73 cm)
DV + P (253 x 128, h = 73 cm)
O + DO (253 x 128, h = 73 cm)

AINO MICHELSEN

Aino Michelsen is a Helsinki-based designer who graduated as a furniture designer from the Lahti Institute of Design in spring 2013. In autumn 2015, she began her master's studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. The collaboration with Interface began in early 2018.
