THE MANUFACTURER OF A GOOD SOFA
Interface combines classic elegance with the best possible seating comfort.
OUR STORY
The story of Interface began in 1963 in Norinkylä, Teuvan, where the son of a carpenter, Efraim Männistö, founded a furniture manufacturing drapery factory.
For Interface, responsibility means domestic manufacturing, high-quality materials and sustainable design.
MADE IN FINLAND
Interface has been manufacturing living room furniture in Finland since 1963. Our furniture is known for its high quality, Scandinavian design, and superior comfort.
Domestic manufacturing allows us to respond to individual needs quickly and flexibly. Our products are a testament to Finnish craftsmanship, of which we can be truly proud. All Interface products are handmade in Heinola.
QUALITY
Our production is completely customer-driven, meaning we manufacture all products to order. Our production process focuses mainly on the manufacture of covers and upholstery. We stock certain basic raw materials: frames, padding, fabrics and leathers. The frames and padding come to us from domestic contract manufacturers.
In addition to our own factory, we employ a number of skilled Finnish people in the service of our subcontractors and contract manufacturers. Fabrics and leather come directly from Europe from manufacturers that we have known for decades. This way we are assured of the quality of the raw materials and we know how and where they are manufactured. High-quality materials guarantee a long service life for the product.
DESIGN
Interface products are designed by renowned designers. The collaboration between Interface and the designer begins by identifying the needs, wishes and expectations of the customers. The designer's job is not only to think about the appearance of the product, but also to invest their expertise in the functionality and ease of use of the product.
Good design ensures a product that will last over time and use - both in terms of appearance and comfort.

MADE IN FINLAND

THE MADE IN FINLAND is granted by the Commission for three years at a time based on applications. The information required for the right to use the mark is checked from companies annually. MADE IN FINLAND is administered by the Finnish Work Association.
A person's true need is to stop, to calm down, to cherish their own moments, to enjoy themselves. A good sofa makes good moments even better.
