GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL FURNITURE

After unpacking the product, make sure that the legs are already installed at the factory. This is not the case with all of our products, so it is a good idea to make sure that the legs are installed on the product before using it. During the initial use phase, it is also a good idea to position both the seat and back cushions. We also recommend fluffing the feather cushions before using them. This will ensure the product is comfortable to use.

Avoid placing the product in direct sunlight or near a heating appliance. Heat can damage the upholstery or cause the leather to dry out, crack or harden. Furniture does not like rapid changes in temperature and humidity. The ideal, constant humidity percentage is 40-60%. Do not dry damp clothes or objects on the furniture and do not place hot objects on the furniture.

Cushions and padding soften and shape with use, increasing comfort.

To keep your cushions fluffy, fluff them weekly. Also, rotate the seat and back cushions to ensure even wear.

When moving sofas and chairs, remember to always lift them by the bottom edge of the frame. The armrests are not for sitting on or lifting.

Do not let pets climb on the furniture. Their claws can damage the upholstery. In addition, animal saliva and other secretions can corrode the surface material, especially leather. Human sweat or oil from the skin can also corrode fabric and leather upholstery. So do not let dirt accumulate on the furniture, but maintain it regularly.

Do not sit on the product with wet or dye-dripping clothing. Also be careful of buttons or rivets on clothing: they may damage the upholstery.

Don't let dirt build up, but maintain your furniture regularly. Always remove stains immediately. Choose the right care and cleaning method for different materials. Read the maintenance instructions for different materials here .

UPHOLSTERY CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid machine washing at home, we always recommend professional help from a laundry service. We always recommend professional, dry cleaning for our upholstered products, including removable covers.

As basic care, we recommend regular vacuuming and airing. Some fabrics can also be washed in water according to the washing instructions. This mainly means wiping with a damp towel. The water may contain a light soap solution.

When removing stains, always treat only the stained area. First, test the fabric's behavior with the cleaning agent in question on an inconspicuous area of the product.

Try to remove stubborn stains by gently scraping with your fingernail, for example. Also avoid bleaching detergents, excessive use of water, rubbing the fabric surface, solvents, and strongly alkaline or acidic detergents.

On seat and back cushions and removable upholstery, the stickers must be protected during washing. The sticker may stick to the upholstery fabric and damage the upholstery material.

Furniture wears out with use, so the cushions will have some indentations due to the stretching of the upholstery materials. These are not manufacturing or material defects.

LEATHERS

Leather is a natural material. Each hide is unique in size, structure and appearance. Raw hides show signs of life: insect bites, scars, blood vessels, wrinkles, abrasions. These are not defects, but characteristics of genuine leather and do not reduce the durability of the leather.

Leather requires special care. Leather is cared for by wiping with a damp, clean cloth and, if necessary, airing and vacuuming. Human skin and hair secrete oil, which should be regularly cleaned off the leather surface before it becomes sticky. The same applies to all stubborn dirt and stains.

Avoid excessive moisture when cleaning leather. You can try to remove stains with a cloth or sponge dampened with mild soapy water, but never rub the leather surface or let it get too wet. If the leather gets wet, do not dry it with a hair dryer or rub the wet area.

Avoid solvents, abrasives and strongly alkaline or acidic products.
detergents.

It is best to place leather furniture away from radiators and direct sunlight. Also, be careful not to let the room air get too dry. Rivets and buttons on clothing can damage the leather surface. Also, avoid letting the leather come into contact with clothing that can remove the color.

When furniture is used, leather ages and patinas in different ways, depending on the type of wear and tear it is subjected to and how it is cared for. The elasticity of leather on the surface of the upholstery is limited, and the leather cannot forever return to its original shape. For example, the surface of seat cushions may loosen over time. Small hairline cracks and abrasions may form in the surface layer of the leather, especially in stressed areas such as the seat and backrest. These changes are not covered by the warranty. The softness of different parts of the leather varies. The resulting differences in the appearance of wrinkles and seams are not defects but characteristics of the leather.
