Furniture manufacturer Interface has agreed to a design collaboration with designer Bette Eklund. The first product from the new collaboration will be presented on June 4, 2024 at the Interior Designers' Summer Festival in Billnäs.

Bette's starting point is to design furniture that brings joy to everyday needs and combines quality, ergonomics and practicality. In terms of design language, architecture and natural forms and solutions serve as a constant source of inspiration for Bette. She strives to create beautiful and functional design products and work towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

"Bette is a designer who worked for a long time as the creative director and product designer of her own company BEdesign Oy. Over the years, Bette has also designed products for other Finnish and international design brands. We are very excited about our collaboration," says Tuukka Leppänen, CEO of Interface Oy.

"I am delighted to have this opportunity to work with a competent and long-standing Finnish company with whom we share the same values. My distinctive design, which combines sculpturality, organic shapes and ergonomics, has been wonderfully showcased in our first collaborative product," says designer Bette Eklund.

Interface Oy is a Finnish furniture manufacturer from Heinola. The collection consists of products designed by well-known Finnish designers, combining Scandinavian design, high-quality materials and luxurious comfort.
